ADHD

ADHD is a neurodevelopment condition that affects attention, focus, impulse control, and emotional regulation. Our brains are wired to process information, motivation, and energy in a different way. People with ADHD often experience racing thoughts, difficulty organizing tasks, time blindness, over stimulation, emotional overwhelm, or periods of intense focus known has hyper focus. While these patterns can feel frustrating, they are also part of the creativity, sensitivity, and depth that many neurodivergent individuals bring to the world.

Through therapy, self awareness and practical tools, it is possible to manage symptoms and build a balanced fulfilling life.  My approach focuses on helping clients strengthen executive functioning, improve emotional regulation, and create systems that work for them.

CBT

CBT helps individuals  with ADHD recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to  frustration, procrastination, or low self-esteem. It focuses on building practical skills; like time management, organization and emotional regulation, while promoting self awareness and confidence. Through CBT, clients learn to work with their ADHD traits more effectively and create lasting, positive change in daily life.

Executive Functioning Skills

Executive Functioning refers to the brain's ability to plan, organize, focus, and follow through on tasks. These areas feel especially  challenging for individuals with ADHD. In therapy, we focus on on strengthening these skills through personalized tools and routines that fit your lifestyle. By integrating strategies like movement, mindfulness, balanced nutrition, and structured supports, we work to boost focus, motivation, and emotional balance. Small Consistent changes can lead to big shifts how your manage your time, energy and goals.

Couples and ADHD

When one or both partners have ADHD, relationships can experience unique challenges, like miscommunication, emotional sensitivity, forgetfulness or feeling misunderstood. In therapy we focus on understanding how ADHD impacts the relationshipip dynamic rather than seeing one partner as "the problem". Together, we build tools for clearer communication, emotional regulation, and shared structure that supports both partners. My approach combines empathy, psychoeducation, and practical strategies  to help couples reconnect, reduce frustration, improve intimacy and rediscover balance and partnership in their relationships.
